  • The reason we use this basis: You gave us consent to keep your email details on our Mail Chimp mailing lists to keep up to date with our workshops and events.
  • We process your information in the following ways: We store your contact details on our accounting software, Xero, Google calendar which are also password protected. We store your information here to invoice you for products or services you have purchased with us.
  • Data retention period: We will continue to process your information under this basis until you withdraw consent or it is determined your consent no longer exists.
  • Sharing your information: In order to certificate your property, commercial or domestic, we have to create on line certificates via NICEIC. We do not sell your information with third parties.
  • Lawful basis: Contract
  • The reason we use this basis: You contacted us to enquire about our services and will have been asked for your preferred contact method, and the property you wish us to visit to quote/work at. This can be altered by you at any time.   • We process your information in the following ways: Accounting software Xero password protected, gmail if you have contacted us via email, we use cloud storage with DropBox to store some invoice pdf’s and of cause we use your contact details/property details on your electrical certificates via online forms on the NICEIC website.
  • Data retention period: We shall continue to process your information until the contract between us ends or is terminated under any contract terms.
  • Sharing your information: In order to certificate your property, commercial or domestic, we have to create on line certificates via NICEIC. We do not sell your information with third parties.
  • Lawful basis: Legitimate interests
  • The reason we use this basis: You have expressed a legitimate reason for giving us your contact details. We thank you for your support and interest in our work. We hope you continue to use the services provided by Day and Knight Ltd
  • We process your information in the following ways:We store your contact details on Xero if you have had or intend to have services from us.
  • Data retention period: Until you ask us to remove yourself from our lists.
  • Sharing your information:In order to certificate your property, commercial or domestic, we have to create on line certificates via NICEIC. We do not sell your information with third parties.
  • If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.
